A-Trak fans already know that the DJ and artist/designer Dust La Rock have collaborated on many projects, including A-Trak’s grateful bear insignia. (”He’s been my buddy for many years, ever since he appear[ed] in the previous incarnation of djatrak.com,” explains the DJ on his blog.) The bear is now officially yours for purchase at Kidrobot: It’s an eight-inch “soft vinyl” figurine, complete with “gold-plated necklace, leather cuff, cotton sweatband, snow-capped igloo, fitted baseball hat, and wayfarers”—all for $50. They’re made in a limited edition of 500, so interested parties should hurry on over. (Did we mention he’s an “an ice-cold player notorious for parties in his igloo”? Or that the Grateful Bear figurine comes with his own igloo? Honestly, the team on this project deserve raises all around.) High(er) rollers might also want to take a look at Dust La Rock’s website for limited-edition giclee prints—no bears there, but we imagine that A-Trak’s a collector, so good company, then.
