Wondering which BACARDI B-LIVE star is going to cameo in “Iron Man 2”? Looks like DJ AM will be joining the still-emerging cast list, which currently includes comic books icon Stan Lee (who’s supposedly playing a Larry King-type TV show host), Garry Shandling (as “Senator Stern”), and a rumored appearance from G4 uber-hostess Olivia Munn. (For a visual update on all of Stan Lee’s assorted cameos, don’t miss this YouTube compilation with all of his Marvel appearances, from “Hulk” to—well, “Iron Man 1”.) Clint Morris at Moviehole broke the news with this report: “AM appears in a scene that takes place at a club, where Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is celebrating his birthday.” The DJ also has some small-screen projects well underway: He’s currently filming the first season of “Gone Too Far,” the MTV reality series that will see him orchestrate interventions for troubled young people. Check out his Twitter for plenty of status reports on the in-progress show—like updates on filming the fourth episode in San Antonio and the newly announced debut date of September. “Iron Man 2”, meanwhile, premieres on May 7, 2010.
