Now that it’s officially summer, it’s time to bring out the ultimate song of the season: “Summertime” by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, obviously. Jazz deserves his devoted following—I imagine they’ll be coming out to see him at BACARDI B-LIVE dates.

Just got a text from my WMC buddy, who’s betting that Calvin Harris’s “I’m Not Alone” is going to be this year’s break-out track: “Have a listen immediately,” he says. “It’s gorgeous.” We argued over the best pre-WMC warm-up music: He’s going for Treasure Fingers; I’m sticking with last year’s Diplo + Santigold….
